Pointe Noire Makes Its World and U.S. Premieres Before Heading to Quebec this Summer

Pointe Noire made its World Premiere in November 2024 at the 38th Le Festival international du cinéma francophone en Acadie (FICFA) in Moncton, New Brunswick before a 300-seat sold-out audience.  Pointe Noire had its U.S. Premiere in January 2025 at the 20th Cinema on the Bayou Film Festival at the St. Landry Cinema in Opelousas, filling three packed theaters with locals and visiting filmmakers from around the world.  That incredible screening was followed by a standing room only film screening and reception at the fabulous Robinson Film Center in Shreveport in February 2025.  Pointe Noire made its New Orleans debut at the New Orleans French Film Festival at the classic Prytania Theatre to another full house.  Pointe Noire will screen next on April 27th at the beautiful Manship Theater in Baton Rouge, presented by Films at Manship and Louisiana Entertainment.  The film will head back to Canada in August where it will screen at the 18th Les Percéides – Percé International Arts and Film Festival.
