Founder and Artistic Director Pat Mire is pleased to announce that Cinema on the Bayou, an annual international, juried film festival, is accepting film submissions via FilmFreeway for the 20th Cinema on the Bayou Film Festival, to be held on January 22-29, 2025, in Lafayette and Opelousas, Louisiana. The Earlybird Deadline is June 28, 2024. The Festival expects to accept between 160-180 films, including narrative and documentary features, narrative and documentary shorts, and experimental and animated films. Official Selections will be announced in mid-December 2024, and a schedule of film screenings and social events will be posted in early January 2025.
